While on a little get-away...

It's been a SUPER L O N G time
since I've even gone to my own blog!
For reasons known only to Blogland, I was never able to post!

So much has happened since I was last here!

Here's to trying again!

Two posts...Short & Sweet in case it doesn't work!

While camping...
besides the best part of just hanging out with Rick,
preparing meals,
&
riding my Honda Rancher ATV
through enchanted-forest-type trails & all the puddles I can find,
one of my favorite things to do is to spend a little time beading!!

This is my finished project from our camping trip over Memorial Weekend.

Ema's first bracelet

Ema's first (of many) bracelets.  A tiny heart charm is attached.  I'm thinking I'll try to attach a heart on each one I make for her.

This is the box I made to gift wrap the bracelet,
using the SU Bitty Box & Envelope bigz xl Die.
After cutting the box out, I ran the card stock through
the Big Shot again using the
Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder.
The box is only 2 1/2" square,  so you can tell how teeny the bracelet is!

The bracelet is a bit big for Ema's wrist but
worked perfectly on her ankle for now.

You can see her little bracelet peeking out under her dress!

She's our Little Sweet Pea!!!
Love her!

Bows, Beads & Baby

I love this "Dotted Swiss" baby card!
I used the Big Shot to get make textured card stock along with the Large Circle punch, Scallop Circle, Scallop Edge & Heart to Heart punches.
A little white bow & heart 'buttons' added the finishing touches.

About 1 1/2 hr. before the baby shower, I decided I HAD to make the first little piece of jewelery for the baby!  The card is regular 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 size so you can tell how small the bracelet is.

This is our friend's precious little baby...sound asleep...not minding at all that she was passed around... kissed...hugged....& modeling her jewelry!

She is just under two months old.
So beautiful!

In about two months, I'll be holding our new grandbaby!

Just matches...

This is my newest 'hot off the needle' bracelet.
The SLINKY BRACELET.

I often second guess my color choices when making a new design but I was happy with the end result.
There's many, many Swarovski chrytals
woven in so how can it go wrong?!

I found these sandals at Ross.  Perfect for the Beader in me.

There's all the right colors of beads and sequins sewn on the sandals & perfectly matches a scarf I already had.

S'more....Jewelry...

I made S'more....
....jewlery.

Three of these were finished but
the rest I made Friday night and Saturday morning.
(Now why do my neck & head ache?!?)

Our church Mother~Daughter brunch was Saturday morning.
I wanted a bracelet for my Mom, 2 sisters & neice as well as
for a friend & her Mom who went with me.

This pattern is called Spring Garden.
I changed it some so that the flowers
looked more like a flower.
The center bracelet is the original pattern.
The flowers look more like grapes probably
because they are purple.
Perhaps they are grape hyacinth
or lilacs!

The original pattern called for using all the
same size small seed beads.
On some, I used larger beads.  A crystal makes
the center of each flower.

A piece of jewlery without a crystal is like.....
an egg without salt!

Never enough time...

Seems like forever since I've stamped  :(
I can multi-task quite a few things...
knit & walk on the tread mill, knit & ride the back of the Harley
drive & ......oops....
I just haven't figured out how to stamp
& make jewelry at the same time!

This is one of my newest bracelets called Spring Bracelet.
It is very dainty...made with teeny beads.
The stem, dark green is down the center,
little light green leaves
& purple flowers.
(Of course they are always prettier, shinier and more colorful in real life!)

I know I'll use this pattern over & over with my own variations

Jewelry tag...

My handmade jewelry is hard to photograph.
This bracelet has a lot of pearl & sparkle to it in living color!
This bracelet pattern (appropriately named) is called Curly Bracelet.
This is one of 4 colors I made.

The new Stampin' Up! Jewelry Tag punch is perfect!

(page 11 in the SU!Occasions Mini Catalog--good until April 30th)
