Happy Mother's Day

Poppin' Pastels is the technique I used for this card. I love this technique. The colors can be as pastel or bright as you want. First, stamp your image in Versa Mark then use a cotton swab or cotton ball to chalk color over the Versa Mark.
I stamped extra flowers and leaves to cut out & applied with Stampin' Dimensionals.
Other items used: Cuddlebug to emboss, Scallop Edge punch, Scallop Circle punch, brads,
gold cord and glass beads.

Mother's Day cards...

I liked this layout so much when I made it in orange (see posts below) so I made another.
Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive and Blush Blossom is the color combination for this card.
This makes a nice rich color combination.

So Saffron, Ballet Blue and Mellow Moss were used for this Mother's Day card.
I used water color pencils to color card along with a gel pen to add highlights
as you can see in the close up picture.
I love the shading and blending that can be done with water color.
The gold butterfly bead is applied with a glue dot.
I also used the Mat Pack (pg 184) to pierce holes in the punched Photo Corner (pg 188)
and applied with SU Stampin' Dimensionals.
