Wood vs. Clear

I've always thought there is nothing better than wood and rubber for stamping.
I have a few (very rarely used) clear stamps
(not all but mostly from $1.00 section of stores).

The ones I have do not give the clear stamped image that rubber gives.
When Stampin' Up! announced they would have clear mount stamps,
I thought "Oh, no!!!"

Clarification!!!

They are clear MOUNT not clear acryilic stamps.
The great quality rubber they use for the wood mounted is exactly the same for the clear mount.

The clear mount stamps are stored in DVD cases
& take much less space for storing.

Here is an example of the storage space they'll take up.
Both stacks include 5 stamp sets.

The clear mounts by Stampin' Up! are great to use.
Other acrylic mounts that I have are only about 1/4" thick
and very hard to work with.
Ours are shaped like the wood mounts and very easy to work with.

Shown here are stacks of 10 stamp sets.
In the foreground, you can see a few of the clear mounts.
They are available in 9 sizes.  Not only do they take up less space but save you a few dollars to allow you to puchase more sets.
Click on the Occasions Mini and/or Sale-a-bration to order
any of the new clear or wood mounted stamp sets.

Sale-a-bration ends March 31st...just a few days away!
