Today, Rick has to have surgery on his broken foot.
He broke it while taking a Motor Officer Bike School taught by our son. He was doing everything right while turning a 360* but somehow...at about a 180*... his foot was caught under the shifter-rod-thingy and broke 3-4 bones in his left foot. This happened at about 11:00. He rode the rest of the day! Walking hurt a lot but riding didn't hurt as much so he finished the day. He finally told me about 6:00 that day when he was hobbling around Walmart trying to find Epsom salt! There's Ford tough...then there's Musson tough!!
The specialist said his foot is not healing right and there's more damage to his foot than originally thought so today at 1:30, he'll have surgery. He will have four weeks in a hard cast then at least 2 more in the walking cast.
The timing is good. I'm off work for the 4th of July so will be able to be home with him.
"Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand." Psalm 37:24
I'm praying Dawn! Love what you've done with your page.
